about me☆

i live on the east coast of scotland, and i'm a phd student in behavioural ecology. i was born in 2000 so i grew up mostly on the internet, but it's important to me to be a creature of the outside world too :>

this is a white-browed sparrow weaver from southern africa. they're very social and build loads of roosts to sleep in, but only a few of the roosts actually get used, so nobody knows why they build so much. kind of like me...
