if you're reading this, you probably have a personal website, where you share things you're proud of with other people.

i keep looking at my own website, does anyone else do this? sometimes i'm admiring a part that i really like, and i feel like "yes, this is exactly how i want to present myself to the world". looking back on the page gives me a little juice reward. or sometimes it's more just tinkering, i'm looking for errors that i might have to go and fix.

this way of living is obviously not sustainable. how can i keep sharing things if i don't spend time doing things other than sharing?

putting yourself out into the world is rewarding, but only if you've made yourself into someone that's fun to present. if you get proud by practicing, maybe showing off to other people is cashing out the pride you earned earlier. you're drawing from a limited well. go and do something else for a bit, and then come back and talk about it.
