this comic has been a long time in the making. i created the characters in 2019, with one of my best friends, jasper. he made ted, i made isha, there were a bunch of other characters too, and we wanted to tell a story about high school friendships. then we did nothing with them for 7 years, as these things tend to go.

then, in 2026, the rise of generative ai finally gave me a story to tell. i strongly believe that human stories are important, and it's better to create something bad that's yours than never to create at all. therefore, i'm treating this comic like a first pancake.
